Bruce Jenner – Director
Loch Health is headed up by Director, Bruce Jenner. Bruce has over 30 years’ experience as a nurse managing NHS A&E departments. He was also a member of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces as a Commissioned Officer and has been deployed operationally to Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Bruce has turned his expertise to training, health and wellbeing as his experiences have highlighted how important prevention is to enable a long and healthy life. From a career in dealing with patients in hospitals and soldiers on the ground, Bruce has devised Loch Health’s Wellness Checks to be a proactive solution to improving health and reducing absenteeism in the workplace.
He also is highly skilled as an HR Medical Specialist to help employers manage absences – both short and long term sickness – with their employees. This can often be a very sensitive area and Bruce is highly experienced in handling such matters with delicacy, working for successful outcomes for the employer and employee.
Throughout his career he has been managing, teaching or training, on a range of subjects including First Aid, Basic and Advanced Life Support, general management and Train the Trainer. He now uses his knowledge and skills to develop and deliver training programmes for clients to help them build successful teams and organisations.
Sam Feakes – HR Medical Specialist
Sam Feakes has over 30 years’ experience in nursing and has worked in many hospitals across the globe, from the UK to Australia. More recently, Sam has been a healthcare advisor for a health social research company and collated data for UK health studies.
Sam has extensive management experience in the field, both teaching nurses and as a clinical specialist. In addition, Sam has worked with organisations to provide commercial nursing and training.
Sam graduated with a first class honours BSc in Psychology which, combined with her nursing expertise, has allowed her to work with organisations to deal with issues such as Mental Health and understand employees’ behaviours.
Sam now utilises her skills and knowledge to support employers with managing absences in the workplace by understanding the causes of an absence, communicating this, making suggestions for possible reasonable adjustments and ways to facilitate a return to work.
Rick Watts – Trainer
Rick Watt has over 20 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse since qualifying in 1993. He has worked in various NHS critical care areas, including cardiothoracic and burn units. He is vastly qualified and is currently a Resuscitation Officer within the NHS.
He was a Commissioned Officer in her Majesty’s Armed Forces and has been deployed operationally to Iraq. He continues to work with the Army Reserves as a Staff Officer and as part of the Military Faculty providing Life Support courses to Defence Medical services personnel prepared to deploy overseas on operations.
Rick also has a wealth of experience as an instructor and Course Director for the Resuscitation Council (UK) in Advanced Life Support and Emergency Paediatric and Paediatric First Aid.
Pam Loch – Managing Director of Loch Associates Group
Pam established award winning niche employment law firm, Loch Employment Law and HR Advise Me an HR Consultancy in 2007. As a business owner herself and having been involved in employment law and HR for 20 years, she aims to help clients manage their organisations as smoothly and effectively as possible, while minimising their exposure to costs and risk. She recognises and promotes the benefits of training staff properly to achieve those goals. Over the years Pam has been involved in all forms of training staff.
She is ranked in Chambers UK 2017 as a leading Employment Law Individual and is also an accredited mediator.
As well as being Managing Director of Loch Health, she remains Managing Director of Loch Employment Law, HR Advise Me and the newest addition Loch Mediation. These form the Loch Associates Group which is a one-stop shop for employers HR and employment law needs.
