Testing

Loch Health can provide a number of tests to individuals and employer’s for their employees. Our team of medical experts have a wide range of experience in the medical field and have the skills to deliver effective testing on site or at our dedicated facility in Tunbridge Wells.

Food Intolerance Testing

Food intolerances occur when eating certain foods that your body can’t handle and can cause symptoms such as bloating, headaches, fatigue, diarrhoea and other gastroenterology and dermatology related conditions.

Loch Health’s Food Intolerance test looks at 57 of the most common foods and delivers results fast and efficiently. This quick diagnostic tool can identify foods causing adverse reactions and will aid healthcare professionals in considering the best options to address symptoms that could otherwise go unidentified due to the complexity of the symptoms.

Some of the foods we test for, with just one drop of finger print blood, are wheat, gluten, peanuts and other nuts, kiwi and other fruits, eggs, milks, seafood, soy and coffee.

A1C Glucose Testing

3.5 million adults in the UK have been diagnosed with diabetes, however there can be no sign of symptoms early on in the disease and early detection provides the best possible chance at managing the disease and preventing complications. 5 million people are currently at risk of developing type 2 diabetes in the UK.

The A1C test (also called HbA1c or haemoglobin A1C) can identify diabetes or highlights if someone is pre-diabetic. This means steps can be taken to prevent diabetes developing.

Loch Health’s testing system provides a fast and easy method of obtaining accurate A1C results, providing the results in just minutes.

Prostate Screening
Test

This is a reliable and non-intrusive Prostate Screening Test for men which tests for abnormal levels of Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), a protein in the blood secreted by the prostate gland.

Prostate cancer is the most common form of cancer in men with 250,000 men living with it in the UK. 1 in 9 men will get prostate cancer and it can grow slowly to start without any symptoms. Loch Health’s screening test detects adverse levels of PSA in the blood to aid an early diagnosis of the disease before symptoms start and when it is easier to treat. This gives the best possible chance of being curable.
